REVISED PROJECT SCOPE OF WORK
TASK ORDER:
Request removal and replacement of water plant booster pump #3.
Date: 10 August 2012
1. PURPOSE: This scope of work is to explain the general intent of the task order named above. This document officially notifies the contractor of the general requirements regarding the task order at hand. It documents the major line items of work the government expects to see accomplished, but it does not attempt to explain the details and/or method of execution for any task order. If any requirements listed in this document conflict with any building codes, life safety codes, ADA codes, etc, the contractor shall notify the government immediately for resolution. This document does not relieve the contractor of any liability regarding code compliance.
1.1 Contractor Provided Statement of Work: Included with the standard submittal documents, the contractor shall provide a detailed statement of work to clarify all items of work that will be accomplished for this task order. Regardless of any official or nonofficial government approval of the contractor provided statement of work, cost proposal, design drawings, the contractor is still responsible for fulfilling all requirements listed in this general government scope of work.
2. GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK: The contractor shall be required to supple all labor and materials to complete this task order. This project shall be completed no later than 21 days after issue of Notice to Proceed. (Revised 10-Aug-12)
3. MAJOR ITEMS OF WORK: Work includes but is not limited to the following items: (Add as many sub paragraphs as needed or remove this totally)
3.1 This project requires the removal and replacement of the existing scrubber tower sump pit booster pump #3. New replacement pump must be compatible with existing electrical system, and mount on same location, with existing motor.
3.2 Area shall be cleaned at the end of each work day.
4. WORK RESTRICTIONS: Work area is accessible and standard contract work hours shall be in effect (i.e., Monday thru Friday 0730 to 1630, excluding Federal Holidays).
5. SUBMITTALS: The contractor shall provide the following specific submittals for this task order in addition to all applicable submittals in the base contract.
5.1 Submittals cont.
Prior to start of construction.
1. Main information/materials submittals/details
2. Secondary information/materials submittals/details
3. Base standard requirements
6. DESIRED PERFORMANCE PERIOD: The desired performance period for this task order is 21 days.
6.1 Liquidated Damages: Liquidated damages will be assessed at the rate specified in the base SABER contract.
7. APPLICABLE STANDARDS: Refer to base contracts for all general standards.
8. EXCLUSION PERIOD: Refer to base contracts for information.
10. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIALS: No government furnished material will be provided under this delivery order.
