About this file
This is a Price Schedule (Exhibit B) for a laboratory instruments, consumables, and reagents contract with the Connecticut Department of Public Health. The contract, identified as 26PSX0117, outlines pricing for a comprehensive range of products and services necessary to support public health laboratory operations. The deliverables include laboratory instruments such as gel analyzers, electrophoresis units, hemoglobin screening systems, DNA extraction instruments, and automated analyzers; consumable supplies including pipette tips, filter paper cards, and magnetic beads; and reagents and test kits for neonatal screening, newborn metabolic disorders, infectious disease detection, and other diagnostic applications. The product list encompasses specialized kits for testing conditions including hypothyroidism, phenylketonuria, galactosemia, sickle cell disease, biotinidase deficiency, and severe combined immunodeficiency, among others.
The contract establishes that prices for all deliverables remain fixed for twelve months from the Effective Date, with price adjustments permitted only during a thirty-day window preceding each annual anniversary date. Any requested price adjustment must be supported by documentation and cannot exceed adjustments consistent with the U.S. Department of Labor Producer Price Index for Professional, Scientific and Technical Services. Price adjustment requests must be submitted in writing to the Department of Administrative Services (DAS) and are subject to DAS approval in its sole discretion. Approved price adjustments become effective ten days after approval, and any purchase orders issued prior to the adjustment effective date retain the previously applicable pricing. The contract includes service plan options organized into three tiers and specifies a percentage discount off catalog pricing, though specific pricing amounts and discount percentages are not populated in this exhibit.
