About this file

This document is an exemption notice related to the Threshold Contract Amount (TCA) for West Virginia's Claims Coding, Billing and Collection Services contract opportunity. The exemption pertains to OHF27-01 and addresses procurement threshold requirements for the state. The notice indicates that this contract falls under specific exemption criteria that allow it to proceed outside standard competitive bidding procedures or with modified procurement requirements. The document supports the related contract opportunity for Claims Coding, Billing and Collection Services, which involves healthcare claims processing functions including coding, billing, and collection activities.

The exemption documentation establishes the legal and procedural basis for how West Virginia may execute and manage this claims processing contract. This classification affects the bidding requirements, contract award procedures, and oversight mechanisms that will govern vendor selection and contract administration. The exemption notice serves as authorization documentation that allows the state to move forward with procurement under the specified terms and conditions outlined in the exemption criteria, rather than requiring full competitive bidding under standard state procurement rules.
