About this file

The document is an Exceptions Worksheet for Collin County, Texas, related to a Request for Proposal (RFP) for an Asset Management and Capital Planning Software System. The county seeks a standalone software solution and Facility Condition Assessment (FCA) to support strategic decision-making about building conditions, capital planning, project costs, building lifecycle, and deferred maintenance. The anticipated contract is set to commence in November 2025 with an initial three-year term, with the potential for two additional one-year extensions at the county's discretion.

The exceptions worksheet provides a template for potential bidders to document any deviations or limitations in meeting the RFP requirements, requiring vendors to specify the section number, the service they are unable to perform, and the steps they will take to address those limitations. By completing this document, bidders can transparently communicate their capabilities and proposed alternatives, helping Collin County evaluate the comprehensiveness and compatibility of each proposal for their asset management and capital planning needs.
