About this file

This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) document issued by Boston Public Schools (BPS) Athletics in Massachusetts for an automated athletic video capture system and integrated cloud-based video management platform. The project seeks to implement district-wide video capture capabilities across designated BPS gymnasiums to support athletic programs and training initiatives. The RFP outlines technical specifications for an automated system capable of recording, storing, and managing athletic video content through a centralized cloud-based platform. The scope includes system installation, configuration, training, and ongoing technical support. The proposal submission deadline and award timeline are specified within the document to allow BPS adequate time for evaluation and implementation planning.

The pricing structure requires contractors to provide detailed cost breakdowns for hardware, software licensing, installation, training, and support services across the contract term. The RFP may include provisions for small business set-asides or local vendor preferences consistent with Massachusetts procurement policies. Funding for this project is sourced through BPS capital or operational budgets allocated to athletics infrastructure improvements. Qualified contractors must demonstrate experience with automated video capture systems, cloud-based video management platforms, and school district implementations. The contract term and any renewal options are detailed in the RFP to establish the long-term service and support relationship between BPS and the selected vendor.
