About this file
This is a telecommunications compliance document related to the Pursuit Interceptor Utility (BPD) vehicle procurement for the Massachusetts state and local contract opportunity. The document addresses compliance requirements for telecommunications systems and equipment that may be integrated into or used in conjunction with the five new Pursuit Interceptor Utility AWD Hybrid marked vehicles specified in the primary procurement. The file establishes technical standards and regulatory requirements that bidders and suppliers must meet to ensure all telecommunications equipment, systems, and services associated with the vehicles comply with applicable state and federal regulations, including FCC requirements and Massachusetts-specific telecommunications standards.
The telecommunications compliance requirements outlined in this document serve as supplementary specifications that vendors must incorporate into their proposals and final deliverables. Compliance with these telecommunications standards is mandatory for all bidders submitting proposals for the Pursuit Interceptor Utility contract, and failure to meet these requirements may result in proposal rejection or contract termination. The specific technical requirements, testing procedures, and certification standards detailed in the compliance document must be addressed in bid submissions and demonstrated during vehicle delivery and acceptance phases.
