About this file
This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) document issued by the State of Texas for time and materials hourly support of the NetPlus Telecom Billing Solution. The procurement seeks qualified contractors to provide ongoing technical support and maintenance services for the state's telecom billing system. The contract is structured as a time and materials engagement, allowing for flexible resource allocation based on actual service requirements. The solicitation requires interested bidders to submit proposals by the specified due date to be considered for award. The contract term and any renewal options are contingent upon performance and state budgetary considerations. Site visits and pre-bid conferences may be available for bidders seeking clarification on project requirements and system specifications.
The bid is open to eligible contractors meeting the state's qualifications and experience requirements for telecom billing system support. Pricing will be evaluated based on hourly rates submitted for various labor categories and service classifications. The state may apply set-asides for small business enterprises or disadvantaged business concerns as applicable under Texas procurement regulations. Current system environment details, including technical specifications and integration requirements with existing state infrastructure, should be reviewed as part of bid preparation. Funding for this contract is provided through the state's operating budget, with amounts allocated based on anticipated service utilization and support hours required during the contract period.
