About this file

Summary

This is a Proposal Execution document (Attachment A) related to a Texas state and local contract opportunity. The file serves as the formal proposal submission attachment for a procurement process administered by the State of Texas. The document establishes the framework for bidder proposals and outlines the requirements for proposal preparation and submission. The scope encompasses the execution of proposals according to the specifications and terms defined in the primary solicitation documents. While specific product or service details, quantities, and key dates are referenced in the associated solicitation materials, this particular attachment focuses on standardizing the proposal format and ensuring all bidders submit responses in a consistent manner that meets state requirements. The contract opportunity involves a formal procurement process with defined bidding procedures and evaluation criteria established by the state of Texas.

The document functions as a critical control document ensuring proposal compliance with state procurement standards. It likely includes required certifications, acknowledgments of addenda, and representations that bidders must execute as part of their formal submission. This attachment would typically contain signature blocks, date fields, and affirmation statements whereby bidders confirm their understanding of contract terms, their ability to perform, and their compliance with all applicable state regulations and contract conditions. The execution of this attachment is mandatory for proposal acceptance and serves as evidence that bidders have reviewed all solicitation materials and agree to the terms and conditions established for this procurement opportunity.

Any exceptions to the scope of services, terms, conditions, and requirements have been explicitly set forth in the Respondent’s

Proposal.

2. Affirms that it has not given, nor intends to give at any time hereafter, any economic opportunity, future employment, gift, loan, gratuity, special discount, trip, favor or service to a public servant in connection with the submitted proposal. 3. Certifies that it is not currently delinquent in the payment of any franchise taxes due under Chapter 171, Texas Tax

CPRIT will use the Social Security number only for the purposes of complying with the provisions of Texas Family Code

§ 231.006, and, if Respondent is a sole proprietor, with Federal tax law. Note: Respondents that have pre-registered this information on the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts Centralized Master Bidders List (CMBL) have already satisfied this requirement.

If the certificate required under Subsection (d) is shown to be false, the vendor is liable to the state for attorney’s fees, the cost necessary to complete the contract, including the cost of advertising and awarding a second contract, and any other damages provided by law or contract.

7. Pursuant to Texas Government Code §§ 2107.008 and 2252.903, agrees that any payments owing to Respondent under any resulting contract may be applied to any debt or delinquent taxes that Respondent owes the State of
