About this file
This document contains an engineering data requirements attachment and a related federal contract opportunity notice. The engineering data requirements attachment provides instructions for the manufacture of a cable assembly special purpose electrical part. It specifies requirements including item unique identification marking, part marking standards, and specifies using a coax contact instead of a twinax contact.
The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation notice from the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center to procure seven different F-16 cable assemblies. The solicitation will include production, first article, and data contract line items for each national stock number. It is a small business set-aside with an anticipated award date of April 30, 2021. Qualified sources must submit a source approval request to be eligible for award. The total quantities required include 69 cable assemblies across the seven national stock numbers.
