About this file

This document is an instruction guide for completing the Emergency Professional Rate Schedule issued by the City of Detroit, Michigan for emergency residential demolition services. Respondents must provide unit rates for two primary service categories: Demolition (which includes administration, supervisor, laborer, equipment, regulated and non-regulated material trucking, and disposal of asbestos-containing and construction/demolition materials) and Backfill, Grade, and Site Finalization (which includes administration, supervisor, laborer, equipment, backfill material, and topfill material). All highlighted cells on the rate schedule must be completed by respondents, with rates expressed as mean averages per unit of measure.

The City of Detroit will consider Professional Rate Sheets incomplete or non-responsive if unit values are expressed as ranges, include qualifying notes or text, specify alternate unit types different from those requested, or contain any blank unit rate fields. Respondents may be required to provide clarification on any submitted unit rate within twenty-four hours of request. Completion of the Professional Rate Schedule does not constitute acceptance by the City of Detroit of the proposed unit rates. Respondents should consult the applicable Scope of Services for clarification on specific service types or contact the City of Detroit directly with questions.
