Special Notice - Fall Weed Inspection May be Necessary

The upcoming contract will require unclassified borrow and aggregate to be secured from weed free sources. These sources must pass a Forest Service/Carbon County weed inspection. To determine if a source is acceptable, contractors must arrange for a weed inspection this fall.

Please provide all requests for weed inspection of sources to Brian Ostwald, Carbon County Weed Supervisor. He will arrange for a weed inspection to be completed by approximately October 1, 2014.

To schedule your inspection, contact Brian Ostwald at (406) 962-3967 or (406) 425-0123 or email him at bostwald@co.carbon.mt.us.

Solicitation documents - Documents will be available during the winter of 2014/2015. Please monitor the FedBizOpps (FBO) site for actual date of solicitation release (www.fbo.gov). To receive automatic notification through FBO, select the “Watch this opportunity” feature and follow the steps as indicated.
