About this file

This document contains multiple Facility Services Scope of Work contracts for the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), District 11, effective July 1, 2024. The contracts cover lawn care and facility maintenance services for several ODOT locations, including Barnesville Outpost, Belmont Full Service Facility, St. Clairsville Outpost, and Shadyside Yard. The documents are standardized scopes of work that outline service requirements for vendors, with Mike DeWine listed as Governor and Jack Marchbanks as Director of the transportation department.

The contracts specify lawn care services to be performed approximately 26 times annually between April 15 and November 30, with precise mowing and trimming requirements. Vendors are responsible for maintaining grass height between 3-5 inches, trimming around buildings and fences, and removing debris. The payment structure is based on a daily rate calculated by dividing the annual cost (including labor, supplies, equipment, and 15% overhead) by the number of service days. Each contract includes detailed provisions for working hours, holidays, dress code, safety requirements, and performance expectations. ODOT will provide chemical weed control along fence lines, while vendors are responsible for all other grounds maintenance tasks.
