“my experience with Job corps has been extremely positive.

Job corps graduates come here ready to work on their first day.

They are well-trained on AAmco services, procedures and equipment. It’s become an invaluable resource for saving time.”

– Nancy Brown, AAMCO Transmissions, Technical Services Project Manager teLL me aBOut JOB cOrpS graduateS.

Job Corps recognizes that there is more to a good employee than career technical training.

Every prospective Job Corps student is screened for drug use and behavioral problems. From their first day of class to the time they graduate, all Job Corps students adhere to a strict Zero tolerance policy for violence, alcohol and drugs.

In the classroom and on campus, Job Corps staff and instructors stress workplace accountability, job commitment and positive social skills.

Our graduates work with career transition specialists for up to 18 months after graduation. During this period, our graduates are in regular contact with their specialist to receive assistance with such challenges as finding a place to live and investigating transportation options – all of the little things that make for a smooth transition into the workforce.
