About this file
This is a Contractor Questionnaire for a sources sought announcement (SSA) issued by the Defense Logistics Agency-Aberdeen on behalf of the Army Integrated Logistics Supply Center. The questionnaire is designed to evaluate contractor capabilities for manufacturing battery case assemblies (NSN 6160-01-348-2410, Part Number A3159263) used in the Enhanced Position Location Reporting System (EPLRS), a secure, jam-resistant military communications network. Respondents must provide company information including CAGE code, DUNS number, and primary point of contact details.
The questionnaire addresses 13 specific capability areas critical to this procurement: company background and core competencies, past performance on similar manufacturing contracts, engineering staff qualifications, test equipment identification experience, obsolescence management processes and tools, alternatives identification for unavailable components, ability to meet government delivery requirements, capacity to support spot buys and fixed quantity orders, product inventory status, and supply chain risk factors. Responses should include relevant contract history with points of contact and performance descriptions, documentation of First Article Testing (FAT) capabilities, and information on previous government contracts. This is a pre-solicitation market research activity, not a formal Request for Quote or Proposal, and the government will not award contracts or reimburse response costs based on this announcement.
