About this file

The file is a Contractor Questionnaire for a market survey seeking potential sources for spare parts for the AN/VAS-5B Driver's Vision Enhancer (DVE), a thermal imaging system used in combat and tactical vehicles. The survey aims to gather information from potential suppliers about their capabilities, specifically focusing on electronic components assembly (NSN 5998-01-591-2293, Part Number 1000472-029) for the Abrams Combat Vehicle family.

The questionnaire comprehensively explores vendor qualifications, including company overview, past performance, engineering expertise, test equipment experience, obsolescence management, delivery capabilities, and stock availability. Responses are voluntary and must address specific technical requirements outlined in MIL-PRF-49256E performance specification and ICD A3325865 interface control document. Interested suppliers must submit their completed questionnaire via email to the listed technical points of contact (Vidal Candelaria, Jesenia Velez, and Niklas A. Skinner) by June 03, 2025. This market research is being conducted by the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime to identify potential sources, with no immediate commitment to contract award.
