Computer Based Training License for XRAY and Checkpoint Security

Requirements for computer based training (CBT) X-Ray training for approximately 1,500 individuals.

A. Capability to enroll trainees:

· Vendor must demonstrate the ability to safeguard the information provided ( i.e. personal names and .gov email addresses)

· Provide training via an UNCLASSIFIED environment through the Internet

· Compatible with multiple browser platforms

· Access to the CBT must be through a secure login with individualized password capabilities B. Capacity to assess progress throughout the CBT:

· Allow users to track usage and scores

· Ability to create and provide reports (monthly or quarterly audits) to track the number of certificates awarded.

C. Provide a CBT platform designed to allow for image interpretation (x-ray) of packages and personnel:

· Includes procedures for conducting a physical search, i.e. hand-held metal detectors

· The CBT must incorporate a variety of x-ray machine brands used within government facilities.

D. The CBT should provide an accurate depiction of a simulated screen environment to allow participants to acquire a measurable level of experience prior to testing:

· The CBT should provide multiple levels of difficulty

· Remedial training, if necessary.

E. The simulated screen environment should provide an array of up to date images that simultaneously include images with threats and other images without threats from the list of prohibited items at federal facilities.

F. The CBT training module should include proper operation and safety of x-ray machines and the deployment of handheld screening devices.

G. Vendor must have a proven and demonstrated track record of providing CBT training to other government agencies within the United States, particularly as they relate to law enforcement.

· Provide online assistance to users

· Issue training certificates/transcripts

· Support and maintenance services must be provided

· Customization to meet client needs – i.e., updated images
