About this file

This document is a Procurement Determination for bulk fuel propane procurement by Arizona State Parks and Trails, specifically for Patagonia State Park and San Rafael Natural Area. The document is issued under the authority of Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs and Executive Director Bob Broscheid, with Procurement Specialist Charles Stevens executing the determination. The procurement reference number is CTR076578 and follows Arizona Revised Statutes § 41-2535 and administrative code A.A.C. R2-7-D301.

The determination indicates that AmeriGas, the previous statewide propane supplier, will no longer provide service to these parks, having previously donated propane tanks to both locations. As a result, the state parks are seeking a new propane service provider capable of servicing their remote locations. The procurement is classified as "Not Practicable to Quote" (NPTQ) and is for a contract value under $100,000. The document serves to officially document the procurement approach and rationale for transitioning to a new propane service provider for these state park facilities.
