Statement of Work
Online Social Media Public Education Campaign
In the fall of 2018, the vendor will partner with a YouTube acting troupe (Smosh) for a social media project to create a custom video that highlights the costs and consequences of drug use.
The video will air on Smosh's YouTube channel (5.3M subscribers) and also gain exposure to Smosh's 9.7M followers on Facebook and Instagram. .
The selected vendor will perform the following tasks:
• Facilitate purchase of media time for one 60-second PSA, which DEA will provide and will focus on the prescription opioid problem, to air during the first 4 weeks of the Smosh video's premiere in October, with an expected reach of 15.5 million impressions.
• Facilitate placement of digital banner ads during the first 4 weeks of the Smosh video's premiere in October, with an expected reach of 15.5 million impressions.
• Insert the URL www.justthinktwice.com (DEA's website for teens) in the Smosh video and on Smosh's YouTube Channel and desktop and mobile networks.
• Consult with DEA as a subject matter expert to the video's content to ensure accuracy of the portrayal of the physical and social consequences of drug use.
• Provide a final analytics report to DEA summarizing the total number of media impressions achieved, and any other relevant metrics, to illustrate the reach and impact of airing the PSA and placing the digital banner ads.
