Narrative on the Approach to the scope of work

We are accustomed to both netting and chemical (dart) methods for capture. Once captured, animals are blindfolded, hobbled if needed. This practice would also apply if we were to sling the animals in nets.

The mugger and gunner will be in the aircraft, once the animal is “netted” or hit with a dart, we will land, gunner and mugger will work together to properly restrain the animal. Helicopter crew will have radio communication throughout the exercise.

Disinfection of equipment is used with medical grade cleaning supplies, usually water alcohol solution.

Dirty rags are disposed of.

Additional fuel is never a concern, fuels trucks are nearby, and we always maintain 10-hour supply of fuel for each day.

Recent capture project was in Colorado, this took place in August 2022. Previous page shows photos.

We used darts, not nets. This was especially challenging; terrain temperatures elevations and trees made this very challenging, however, we were safe and successful.

Primary and alternate points of contact

1. Morgan Lohman, Director of Operations, 208-818-4658

2. Christine Lohman, CEO, 208-816-2448

3. Office Number: 208-743-5411

Scheduling Expected response times should not exceed 48 hours from time work order/mission is placed. We shall be readily available for all reasonable hours and days of availability. Obviously the better the lead time the better, good communication and planning will insure we will always be able to start a project when AGFD wants us to. Reasons being pilots, drivers, and or/aircraft/trucks my not be readily available. While we may have a helicopter in the area, the pilot/driver lives out of state, thus we need to airline them to Arizona.

Seasonal Availability With the size of fleet have and cadre of pilots, we anticipate being able to offer year-round coverage to AFGD. The only time of year where we may be limited would be summertime, during firefighting season.

But, with proper coordination and communication, we can work though that timeframe.
