1.3. Cancer is the second leading cause of death in Arizona, accounting for 20.8% of all deaths. In 2019 there were 33, 165 Arizonans diagnosed with invasive cancer. The incidence of invasive cancer cases has increased 3.2% from 32,128 cases (2015) to 33,165 cases (2019).
