About this file
This document is Amendment No. 2 to a mandatory use contract issued by the Ohio Department of Administrative Services (DAS), General Services Division, for the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC). The contract is with Vets Securing America, a security guard services provider located in Gardena, California, and was originally solicited through Request for Proposal (RFP) No. CSP904421.
The amendment renews the contract for uniformed armed and unarmed security guard services for an additional 12 months, effective from 07/01/25 through 06/30/26. It updates the hourly pay rates for security guards at various Ohio service office locations, including Cleveland, Springdale, Toledo, Canton, and Youngstown. The hourly rates vary between $24.79 and $30.49 paid by the state, depending on the location and whether guards are armed or unarmed. The amendment also removes the Dayton Office location from the price schedule due to agency closure. The contract allows the BWC to purchase security services in any amount and at any time, with no guaranteed volume commitment.
