About this file
This document is an Amendment No. 2 to a Mandatory Use Contract issued by the Ohio Department of Administrative Services (DAS) General Services Division for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR). The contract involves RockWater Drilling Company of Wooster, Ohio, and pertains to a scientific subsurface sediment coring services contract with the contract number CSP017081.
The amendment renews the contract for an additional twelve months, effective from 07/01/25 through 06/30/26, and updates pricing for various scientific drilling projects across multiple Ohio counties including Madison, Western Licking, Williams, Clark, Delaware, Greene, and Montgomery Counties. The contract includes pricing for core hole drilling at depths ranging from 200 to 500 feet, with prices per core hole ranging from $18,315 to $45,621 depending on location and drilling requirements. Optional services are also outlined, including additional mobilization ($4.50 per mile), core hole drilling ($18,600 per hole for up to 200 feet), and additional labor ($800 per hour), all of which require written quotation and agency pre-approval. The contract is part of a broader need for coring services across the 2023-2028 field seasons, with potential for annual mutual renewals.
