NOTE:All excavations, trenches, and boring activities shall adhere to the OSHA regulations within 29 CFR 1926, Subpart P. Employees should be aware of the hazards of open trenches, operation of vehicles and machinery near excavations, and familiar with trench protective systems.

1. Review FAA Orders 1050.17 & 3900.19A, and 29 CFR 1910 & 1926. and AC 150/5210-20 (Ground Vehicle Operations on Airports), AC No. 150/5370-2E (Operational Safety on Airports During Construction) and AC No. 150/5380-5B (debris Hazards at Civil Airports)
