About this file

This is a Cost Proposal form for the North Campus Painting project (CP012926) submitted by a contractor to the State of Connecticut. The project involves painting work across multiple campus buildings, with the base bid scope covering Fairfield and Tolland Halls. Two alternates are available for consideration: Alternate #1 encompasses Litchfield Hall, and Alternate #2 encompasses New Haven Hall. The cost proposal requires contractors to distribute costs across a standardized division structure that includes General Requirements, Existing Conditions, Finishes, and other applicable work categories. All costs must be inclusive of labor, materials, equipment, taxes, insurance, bonds, overhead, profit, small tools, travel, parking, and supervision necessary to complete the full scope of work.

The cost proposal form requires contractors to submit a total bid amount in both figures and words, with the amount shown in words governing in case of discrepancy. Contractors must also provide separate pricing for each alternate, which remain valid for the life of the project and may be accepted or rejected prior to contract award. The project explicitly requires that only contractors with painting experience are eligible to submit cost proposals and statements of qualification. The form is a standardized pricing sheet that cannot be modified, with any modifications potentially resulting in bid disqualification.
