About this file
This is a service termination notification from Lumen (CenturyLink Communications, LLC d/b/a Lumen Technologies Group) to Patrick Muir regarding the discontinuation of conferencing services under State of Wisconsin Contract 505ENT-M11-CONFRSERVC-01. The communication is dated and indicates that Lumen will cease providing conferencing solutions effective October 31, 2022, due to their technology vendor abruptly changing supported technology models and discontinuing support for these offerings.
The terminated services include Web Meeting, Recording for Ready-Access & Web Meeting, Managed Events for Web Conference, Reservationless Audio, Operator Assisted Audio, and Web Conferencing (Lumen Workplace). All customer accounts will be deactivated on October 31, 2022, with support and billing ending on that date. Customers must reschedule meetings to new platforms, cancel existing meetings, and download any recordings before the termination date, as all data will be deleted and inaccessible after October 31, 2022. Lumen is actively evaluating alternative services with comparable functionality that may be added to the existing Wisconsin contract through mutual agreement, and customers are directed to meet with their Lumen Contract Program Manager to discuss next steps.

Dear Patrick Muir, We are dedicated to delivering communication services to our customers. As such, it is important we notify you that effective on or before October 31, 2022, Lumen** will no longer provide the Conferencing solutions referenced below. Our technology vendor has abruptly changed their supported technology models and is no longer supporting these offerings. As a result of this vendor’s actions, Lumen will regrettably no longer be able to offer this conferencing solution. On or before October 31, 2022, Lumen will stop support and billing for the Conferencing services referenced below and accounts will be deactivated.
What is Lumen doing to continue offering conferencing services?
Lumen is actively evaluating alternative services with comparable functionality that may be added to the State of Wisconsin Contract (505ENT-M11-CONFRSERVC-01) contract by mutual agreement.
How does this change impact 505ENT-M11-CONFRSERVC-01 customers?
Customers will need to reschedule their meetings on a new platform and cancel any meetings currently scheduled on the Lumen conferencing platform before October 31, 2022. Additionally, customers will need to download any recordings they need to retain prior to October 31, 2022 because they will be deleted; no longer accessible after October 31, 2022. All customer accounts will be deactivated on October 31, 2022 and no further access will be available. If customers do not reschedule meetings on a new platform, they will not be able to host a conference call.
Please see attached customer announcement that will be sent to all end user customers.
