About this file
This document is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial items Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the National Institutes of Health's Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute on Child Health and Human Development. The solicitation (75N94025Q00162) is set aside for small businesses and is specifically targeting Creagen, Inc. of Woburn, Massachusetts for a highly specialized chemical compound manufacturing project involving the production of specific molecular compounds: 20g of T-1284-1(S) and T-1284-1(R), and 10g of T-1284-2(MR-5-19), with strict purity requirements of over 98% and enantiomeric excesses greater than 99%.
The RFQ requires quotations to be submitted by email to Kelly Robinson by August 29, 2025 at 12:00 PM, with a 10-calendar day response window. The procurement is a sole-source acquisition due to Creagen's proprietary technology for synthesizing these unique research materials that do not occur naturally. Evaluation factors include technical capability, price, and past performance, with technical capability and past performance being significantly more important than cost. The NAICS code is 325998 with a business size standard of 650 employees, and the solicitation is specifically structured as a small business set-aside.
