About this file
This document is Amendment No. 3 to AHCA Contract No. EXD082, an agreement between the State of Florida's Agency for Health Care Administration (the Agency) and Shutts & Bowen, LLP (the Vendor). The amendment was executed in April 2020 and formally signed on 6/11/2021 by representatives from both parties, including Joseph Goldstein (Partner), Simone Marstiller (Secretary), and James Varnado (General Counsel).
The amendment extends the existing contract's term, exercising the second renewal option for a twelve-month period beginning July 1, 2021, and ending on June 20, 2022. The contract modification follows provisions in Section 287.058 of Florida Statutes, which allows contract renewals not exceeding three years or the original contract term. All previously established contract provisions remain in effect, with this amendment specifically adjusting the contract's duration. The document was executed with digital signatures and is part of a standard state procurement process, though the specific services or goods covered are not detailed in this amendment.
