About this file

This document is an Amendment to a Standard Professional Services Agreement between the State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and CDM Smith Inc., with involvement from multiple subconsultants including Quest Corporation of America, Traffic Engineering Data Solutions, Omni Communications, and Geodata Consultants. The agreement covers professional engineering services for transportation infrastructure projects in Brevard County, specifically focusing on State Road A1A/N Mirimar Avenue and State Road 520/Merritt Island Causeway.

The amendment increases the total maximum limiting amount of the contract by $28,866.00, bringing the revised total to $933,748.00. The scope of work primarily involves designing and preparing construction contract documents for a relocated mid-block pedestrian crossing, including tasks such as roadway analysis, survey, lighting design, signing and pavement marking modifications, and utility coordination. The contract includes various lump sum amounts for basic services, utility coordination, and supplemental survey work, with contributions from different subconsultant firms. The amendment incorporates additional attachments and modifies the original agreement's scope of services, with a focus on improving pedestrian safety based on a previously completed Pedestrian Safety Study.
