About this file

This document is a Task Work Order Amendment for a Master University Agreement between the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and the University of Miami. The amendment involves Research Contract #BEE76, specifically Task Work Order 977-02, with the primary contact being Jennifer Clark from the FDOT Research Center and the project led by Principal Investigator Dr. Francisco De Caso y Basalo.

The contract focuses on a research project involving "Extraction and Physio-Mechanical Testing of FRP Reinforcing Bars from 5-year-old Seawater Concrete Test Blocks on Halls River Bridge Bulkhead". The amendment extends the project timeline from the original end date to December 31, 2025, with no additional funding increases. The project includes six primary tasks: developing a preliminary project test plan, extracting test blocks, performing testing and analysis, creating recommendations for the Structures Manual, conducting a closeout teleconference, and submitting a final report. The tasks are scheduled between June 2024 and December 2025, with key deliverables at various stages of the research process.
