The project includes construction, engineering, flagging services, signal and communications work, and track work. The work is to be performed according to Buy America requirements, with all steel and iron manufacturing processes required to occur in the United States. The project is designated as a Railroad Highway Crossings Hazard Funding project, with 100% federal funding, and is scheduled to be completed by December 31, 2050.
