About this file
Amendment No. 2 to DEP Agency Term Contract No. GC866
This document is Amendment No. 2 to an Agency Term Contract between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and Groundwater and Environmental Services, Inc. The original contract was executed on February 17, 2014, to provide petroleum contamination site response action services in the South Region of Florida. The amendment implements rate increases to the contractor's fee schedule effective for new work assignments issued on or after the Rate Change Date of August 6, 2016.
The rate increases apply exclusively to new work assignments and do not affect previously awarded work or outstanding work assignments, which continue under the prior rate schedule. All requested rate increases are uniformly 5% and do not exceed the maximum allowable increase of 5% specified in contract provision 11.B.ii. The increases apply to 276 pay items across multiple service categories including office activities, field operations, drilling and boring, well installation, sample collection and laboratory analysis, soil source removal, debris removal and disposal, resurfacing, trenching, remediation system construction and operation, reports, and personnel services. The revised rate schedule (Attachment D V2.1) becomes the controlling document for all new work assignments. No changes were made to pay item descriptions or scope of work under the contract.
