About this file

The document is an email exchange between Carol Carnley from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection's Petroleum Restoration Program and David M. Poe from Envirosouth Technologies, Inc., discussing a contract contact email change for Contracts GC752 and GC856. The correspondence focuses on updating email addresses for project offers and contract-related communications, with Poe explaining that he created a new email address (eejvprpcorrespondence@gmail.com) to improve email distribution and reduce the risk of missing important communications after a computer crash in late 2017.

The email exchange indicates that while an alternate email for site offers has been updated, Carnley is seeking clarification on whether Poe wants to change the primary contract manager email as well. Poe suggests using the new email address for all correspondence, and Carnley offers to complete a change order to ensure all communications for Contracts GC752 and GC856 can be delivered to the new email address by the following week. The contracts appear to be related to the Petroleum Restoration Program, with Envirosouth Technologies, Inc. serving as the contractor.

Carol, We were missing some emails (Project offers and actual PO’s) due to a number of reasons like when my computer crashed in the late fall of 2017. So we felt that if we created this new email address that would automatically distribute any emails from MFMP, PRP Contracts or PRP Offers, there would be much less chance of that happening again as other people with my company would also be receiving them and it would help us police each other. So to answer your question, it is our intent to have all correspondence sent to this new email address (eejvprpcorrespondence@gmail.com). Let me know if there is anything else I need to do in regards to this issue.

Thanks and have a great 4th of July.

Hello David, I just wanted to touch base with you about the email below.

As an “Alternate Email” form was included in your email (attached), the information therein was forwarded to the PRP group that handles site offers, as that is what this particular form was designed for – establishing a contact email for offers that is different from the email address assigned to the ATC’s contract manager, for program and contract‐related email correspondence.

However, the subject line appears to address (perhaps) a change to your “contract contact” email (i.e., your “dmpoe@tampabay.rr.com), I wanted to get clarification about what is intended.

The email address for offers has been updated, but we are not (yet) utilizing EEJVPRPCorrespondence@gmail.com as the contact email for you as contract manager, for contract‐related subject matter.

Please let me know if it is your intent to update your contract mgr. email also, and I will complete a change order to this week, such that by next week – all correspondence related to GC752 and GC856 contracts can be delivered to the new email address.

Thank you.

Best Regards, Carol Carnley Environmental Consultant, FCCM Petroleum Restoration Program Florida Department of Environmental Protection carol.carnley@dep.state.fl.us
