About this file
This is Amendment No. 15 to Agency Term Contract No. GC843 between the State of Florida's Department of Environmental Protection (Department) and BTEX Engineering, Inc. (Contractor). The original contract for petroleum contamination site response action services was effective February 25, 2014. The amendment was signed by BTEX Engineering, Inc. on July 23, 2024, and by Jessica Kramer, Secretary or Designee for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
The amendment extends the contract for a 6-month period beginning August 14, 2024, and ending February 14, 2025, during which both parties shall continue performing their respective duties under the same terms and conditions as the original contract. No new Purchase Orders or Task Assignments may be issued after the contract term expires; however, the Restated Contract shall remain in effect for up to twelve months after the extended term for completion of any Purchase Orders or Task Assignments issued during the renewal or extended term. The contractor attests under penalty of perjury that no commodities or services offered have been produced by forced labor, and the Department may place the contractor on the force labor vendor list if violations are found. All other contract terms and conditions remain in effect, with the amendment's provisions controlling in cases of inconsistency.
