About this file
This document is Amendment No. 9 to Agency Term Contract No. GC831 between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and Water & Air Research, Inc. The contract amendment was executed on August 22, 2022, and is signed by Teresa Hayes, Senior Vice President of Water & Air Research, Inc., and John Truitt, Deputy Secretary of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
The amendment modifies the existing petroleum contamination site response action services contract, which has been in effect since February 26, 2014. Amendment No. 9 specifically updates Attachment A (V2.0), Scope of Services, Section V (Technical Specification), Section B (Schedule of Pay Items), and Section 12 (Debris, Waste and Product Removal and Disposal). The key modification establishes notification requirements when soil delivery weight tickets indicate an overage exceeding the volume approved on the Purchase Order. If the overage volume does not exceed 20 percent of the total volume authorized under the Purchase Order, the contractor must notify the site manager via a Request for Change within two business days of transporting the additional soil from the site. All other contract terms and conditions remain in effect, with the amendment provisions controlling in cases of any inconsistency with the original contract.
