The task is assigned to Environmental Consulting & Technology, Inc. (ECT) to conduct environmental assessment activities at the Sunshine Food Mart No. 22 facility located at 110 W Highway 200 in Yulee, Florida (Facility ID 458512082, Nassau County). The site was designated as a closed facility with no active storage tanks following the discovery of petroleum contamination from historic underground storage tanks and dispensers removed in 2004. Grant Willis serves as the FDEP/LP Site Manager, with Michael Garbee as the Contractor Representative.
The scope of work consists of Event 1 activities involving installation of one temporary monitoring well near the former source area, collection and analysis of groundwater samples from existing onsite monitoring wells (MW-2R, CW-2R, MW-3, MW-4, CW-5, MW-6, MW-16, and DW-1), and submission of a Site Characterization Screening Report summarizing findings and recommendations for next-phase work. Laboratory analysis by Accutest Laboratories will utilize EPA Methods 8021B (BTEX+MTBE), 8310 (PAHs for CW-5 only), and field measurements of groundwater depth and flow direction. The fixed-price task assignment total cost is $7,822.89 with a 10 percent retainage of $782.29, resulting in a total encumbrance of $7,822.89. Work is scheduled from January 25, 2013, to September 25, 2013, with the final deliverable due March 29, 2013. No change orders are authorized after the final signature date.
