About this file
This is a Request to Prequalify document issued by the Clerk of the Court and Comptroller of Miami-Dade County, Florida, to establish a Vendor Bench (VB) of qualified vendors for future purchases of window treatments, window film, and related items. The solicitation (Event No. CL00000050) invites vendors to prequalify in one or both of two groups: Group A for window treatments purchase and installation, and Group B for window film purchase and installation. Group A encompasses products such as blackout shades, brackets, ceiling tracks, fabric drapery, horizontal blinds, laminated shades, mini blinds, motorized/automated shades, roller blinds, roller shades, solar shades, valances, vertical blinds, wood shades, and wood shutters. Group B covers window films including blast mitigation film, decorative/frosted film, and safety/security window film. Responses must be submitted through the INFORMS system (https://supplier.miamidade.gov) prior to the event end date, and vendors must be fully registered and approved in INFORMS to be eligible. The vendor bench will expire sixty (60) months after establishment, with potential extensions up to an additional one hundred eighty (180) days, or longer upon approval by the Clerk.
To qualify for the VB, vendors must demonstrate they are regularly engaged in providing the applicable products and installation services. For Group A, vendors must either supply and install brand-name window treatment products with manufacturer authorization documentation, or be manufacturers/fabricators of window treatment products they install themselves. For Group B, vendors must supply and install window film and identify manufacturers and brands offered. Both groups require vendors to provide two (2) references from commercial businesses and/or government agencies with comparable project experience, including customer name, address, contact person, telephone number, and email address. The Clerk reserves the right to verify all submitted information and request additional supporting documentation. Placement on the VB is not a contract but confirmation that the vendor meets qualification criteria; prequalified vendors may be removed for performance or qualification issues. All vendor contact information must be maintained accurately in the INFORMS supplier portal throughout the VB term. Vendors are responsible for all costs related to preparing and submitting materials, and samples may be retained or discarded at the Clerk's discretion.
