About this file
This is Addendum No. 1 for the City of Parker, Texas Parker Ranch 1.0-MG Elevated Storage Tank project, issued September 4, 2026. The project involves furnishing all necessary materials, machinery, equipment, superintendence, and labor for construction of an AWWA D107 Composite Tank with a capacity of 1.0 million gallons, including site work, piping, and all necessary appurtenances. Bids were to be received until 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2026. The City of Parker owns the property designated as the tank site, which is located in Collin County, Texas.
The addendum addresses clarifications regarding permitting requirements and project specifications. The City will not require a building permit for the project, and no building permits from Collin County are anticipated. Non-inspected work is permitted on Saturdays, but no work is allowed on Sundays. A critical specification clarification requires the new tank to match the existing elevated storage tank at City Hall with a 40-foot head range and maintain consistency with distribution system operations and pressures. The City will allow adjustments to the bowl diameter to achieve the required 40-foot head range while maintaining the 1.0-MG volume, departing from the contractor's standard 38-foot head range for a 70-foot diameter tank.
