About this file

This document is a Competition Impracticable (CI) Procurement Authorization form from the Arizona Department of Administration's State Procurement Office (ADOA-SPO), specifically for the Cloud Computing Contracts (CLOUD) statewide contract. The form involves multiple suppliers including SHI International Corp, Carahsoft Technology Corp, AT&T Corp, Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Co., Cherry Road Technologies Inc., Kyndril Inc., and B2GNow. The request is being made by Jim Atkins, Statewide Procurement Manager, seeking a modification to the existing contract.

The procurement seeks to extend the current Cloud Computing contract through March 31, 2025, with an estimated cost of $18,000,000. The rationale indicates the need for additional time to negotiate and establish new participating addendums, including Supplement B - Warranties and Related Requirements. The extension will allow cooperative members time to obtain approvals from their Governing Bodies for new contracts. The pricing was negotiated by the Lead State of Utah and NASPO, and is valid through September 15, 2026. The modification is necessary due to recent staffing changes in the State Procurement Office and to ensure continuous service while new contracts are developed and reviewed.
