About this file

This document is a Schedule of Items (SOI) for the China Wall Staging Area Trailhead Expansion project, detailing a comprehensive construction opportunity issued by the Department of Agriculture Forest Service. The SOI outlines six primary project options involving site preparation, construction, and infrastructure improvements, including mobilization, survey and staking, soil erosion control, clearing and grubbing, excavation, earthwork, aggregate base course installation, asphalt concrete paving, drainage features, and facility enhancements such as toilet installation and traffic signage.

Key quantitative details include 775 cubic yards of excavation and embankment, 1,725 tons of aggregate base course, 960 tons of asphalt concrete, 100 barrier rocks to be relocated onsite, and options for additional survey work, soil erosion control, and specific road surface treatments like slurry seal and full depth reclamation. The project requires complete pricing for all line items, with potential bond requirements if the award exceeds $30,000, and mandates that respondents price each item to be considered for award. The solicitation is currently in pre-solicitation status with the opportunity ID 68911851d9b0f4772c003372.
