About this file
This is a Scope of Work document for a construction project in Saugus, Massachusetts, involving the replacement of two suspended bathroom ceilings at 212 Essex Street, Units 202 and 203. The project requires demolition of existing suspended ceilings, disposal of debris, installation of framing to building code, installation of R19 fiberglass insulation batts, installation of gypsum board with joint compound and paper tape finishing, and thorough cleaning of the work area upon completion. The bathroom ceilings measure approximately 8 feet by 6 feet and are currently suspended from wires or 2-foot by 3-foot track systems with vent fans cut into the ceiling. The scope may require replacement of studs and supports as needed. Contractors must obtain a building permit, maintain a valid builder's license, and carry appropriate insurance coverage.
No specific pricing terms, response dates, due dates, award dates, or contract term information is provided in the available documentation. The project appears to be a straightforward repair and replacement initiative for a residential property in Massachusetts with no apparent set-asides, incumbent contractors noted, or specific funding source information detailed in the scope of work.
