About this file
This is a Scope of Work document for the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs, specifically for the Facilities Management Office at the Camp Navajo Training Facility in Bellemont, Arizona. The project involves procurement of industrial slings, straps, shackles, and rigging equipment, with Lift-It Manufacturer identified as the preferred vendor based on past performance and ability to meet Air Force regulations.
The document details comprehensive requirements for various lifting and rigging equipment, including synthetic web slings, twin path slings, synthetic rope slings, chain slings, wire rope slings, and associated hardware. All equipment must be manufactured in the USA, with specific components like shackles, master links, and connectors to be produced by Crosby. Strict compliance is mandated with OSHA, ASME, and ASTM regulations, including requirements for load testing, certification, and identification tagging. All synthetic slings must be proof loaded to 200% capacity, with components tested to destruction, and manufacturers must maintain test results indefinitely. Twin Path Slings specifically require fiber optics and tattle tails.
