About this file
This is a Worker Protection Form document (BOP-2201 EO 2021-06) associated with a Pennsylvania state and local contract opportunity for the procurement of two salt conveyors. The contract involves the acquisition of towable, radial stacker, self-contained diesel engine units with hydraulic drive systems, specifically referencing the Kimco 2470SS model featuring 24-inch by 70-foot stainless steel construction. The equipment is designed to be loaded by a Department-owned 3 cubic yard front-end loader and will be utilized to fill various Department salt stockpile structures. The units must be current production models, new, complete, and ready for immediate operation upon delivery, meeting all applicable codes and standards.
The Worker Protection Form document serves as a compliance mechanism tied to Executive Order 2021-06, establishing worker protection requirements that bidders and contractors must acknowledge and adhere to throughout the contract execution. This form ensures that all parties involved in the procurement comply with state worker protection mandates, which may include wage requirements, working conditions, safety standards, and other employee-related protections. The form is a mandatory component of the bid submission process for this Pennsylvania state procurement.
