The solicitation encompasses a two-year contract period covering the 2026-2027 and 2027-2028 winter seasons (November 1 through April 30 each year), with an option to renew for one additional year subject to mutual written agreement and a maximum price increase of 3%. The District requires bidders to service six facility complexes including the Bus Garage, Paw Paw High School, Middle School & Admin Building, Early and Later Elementary schools with Early Childhood Center, and Cedar Street Center. Sealed bids in duplicate must be submitted by September 24, 2026 at 10:00 AM EST to the PPPS Admin Building at 119 Johnson Road, Paw Paw, MI 49079, with an electronic copy sent to dan.grimm@ppps.org. Bidders must submit per-event service rates for both full district plowing and salting events and salt-only applications for each contract year, with all pricing remaining firm for the entire two-year duration and no fuel or material surcharges permitted. A bid bond or certified check equal to the proposed cost for one full district-wide plowing event is required as good faith deposit. The contractor must maintain comprehensive commercial-grade equipment with dedicated resources, provide a 24/7 emergency contact with guaranteed 60-minute response time, and maintain sufficient offsite salt reserves to service all facilities at least twice concurrently with required documentation logs.
