Please confirm which jobs you want to be run for FIT and BEP: is it all jobs that are described in Attachments C through J? We will provide tooling and foils and laminate if applicable. We assume that the tooling from the FIT can be re-used for the BEP. Jobs PR 7 and PR8 are currently under review.

Proposal should include testing all PR attachments. Final test plans for FIT and BAT will be provided after contract award.

1. Are there any construction documents available on site or online?

2. Provide column, primary and secondary framing member sizes and member connections.

3. Provide the supporting slab thickness, steel deck for (steel form deck or composite steel deck) and weight of concrete (NW or LW).

4. Framing bay plan dimensions.

5. Is there a drawing available showing any other equipment weights and locations on other floors above and below within the bays where the new machine will be placed?

6. Has a survey been prepared of the equipment to make sure that the cumulative demand loadings to columns and foundations are within safe capacity loads.

7. Will we have access to view the underside of the supporting floor? Is it exposed to view?

8. Confirm that there will be no recesses for trays or guide rails we will need to cut into the slab

7. Yes, there is a drop ceiling below the space. Some tiles would have to be removed to view the underside.

8. Please use all means necessary to provide a solution that does not involve the cutting of the slab.

The Bid states a form SF1449 is required with our proposal, but I didn’t see an SF1449 included in the bid documents or attachments.
Normally the Solicitation is prepared using a SF Form 1449; however, this Solicitation was prepared using a regular Microsoft Word format. You are required to fill out and submit with your proposals page three (3) of the RFP with “Unit Price” and “Amount.”

Explain the difference between the “Cross Reference Matrix” and the “Table of Contents”. It is stated that “Each Volume shall contain a Table of Contents..” and “Each Volume shall contain a cross-reference matrix relating the proposal information to Sections L and M of the RFP”.

There is no difference between the “Cross Reference Matrix” and the “Table of Contents.”
