About this file

This spreadsheet contains information on cultural and historic resources at Guilford Courthouse National Military Park. It lists 67 resources including monuments, structures, buildings, roads and landscape features. For each it provides the resource name, type, date, status, significance and comments on condition and alterations. The spreadsheet also notes potential themes for a National Register amendment including the Park Development Era, Mission 66/Bicentennial Era and Miscellaneous resources requiring additional research. Threaded comments provide further context and clarification on several resources.

The related federal contract opportunity solicitation is for determining National Register eligibility for resources at Guilford Courthouse National Military Park. It involves conducting research and documentation to evaluate if the 48 resources dating from the Bicentennial Era in 1975 are eligible for listing on the National Register in order to inform future planning efforts at the park. The solicitation was issued by the National Park Service Southeast Region under number 140P5123Q0056.

With the exception of the bollards on New garden, IMO all these are operational too. We look to have "mission 66 style" bike racks. Agian, document in CLR/CLI and allow for modern operational feature (perhaps in the historic footprint).
