Volume IV - Price Proposal

Each offeror must complete the attached price schedule in its entirety. Offerors shall provide pricing for

Year One based on the relative quantities provided in the price schedule. All offerors are subject to the same escalation rate of 5% for services and 2% for products for years two through ten.

Quantities provided are an estimate of the work BLM will require relative to other bid items and not actual quantities of work that BLM will require in Year One or out years.

Maximum service unit prices will be established for each year of the IDIQ contract. IDIQ holders may offer lower prices than the maximum service unit prices for individual task orders but cannot offer high prices than the established maximums for service.

For maximum unit prices, offerors are advised to assume the highest level of difficulty i.e. densest forest stand, worst road, furthest location within the Klamath Falls Field Office area, most difficult trees to delimb and process etc.

Characteristics of the Klamath Falls Field Office Area:

• Primarily 4000-6000 ft. elevation, dry mixed conifer forests (white fir, ponderosa pine, Douglas-fir, incense cedar, sugar/white pine) west of Klamath Falls (SDI max 530). Shasta red fir exists above 5500 ft with some areas being especially dense (SDI max 755).

• Primarily juniper and ponderosa pine east of Klamath Falls. These areas can be very rocky.

• Seasonal shutdowns will restrict work between October and May depending on snow/moisture levels.

• Fire restrictions can limit working time per day or completely shutdown operations from June to October.
