About this file

This document is a Bid Amendment #2 with Questions and Answers for a snow and ice removal contract issued by the State of Illinois, specifically for the Department of Facilities Services (DFS). The solicitation is listed under BidBuy Bid# 26-493ISP-OPERA-B-49475 and involves a procurement for snow and ice removal services at a specific location with defined service areas.

The contract scope involves snow and ice removal services for specific areas around a laboratory facility, as detailed in an accompanying map. The service areas include the perimeter sidewalk, front driveway, front parking lot (marked in red), and a gated parking area (marked in yellow). The bid amendment provides clarity on the precise geographical boundaries for snow and ice removal, indicating the exact locations where services are required. The document includes a visual reference map to help potential bidders understand the exact service areas, which appears to be a critical component of the bid specification.
