A mandatory virtual pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM via MS Teams, with at least one representative from each prospective bidding firm required to attend; failure to attend will result in bid rejection. All questions must be submitted through the County's online bidding system at https://opengov.com/products/procurement/suppliers/ by 4:00 PM on August 17, 2026. The awarded contract will be effective for one year or until the total contract amount is reached, whichever occurs first. The successful bidder will be required to furnish an initial Performance Bond of $500,000 and an initial Payment Bond of $500,000, both subject to approval by the County Counsel and Risk Manager. All contractors and subcontractors must comply with California Labor Code Section 1771.1(a) regarding contractor registration and must adhere to prevailing wage requirements as established by the Department of Industrial Relations. Bids submitted will be valid for 120 days following the closing date. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in bids received. Per Section 22300 of the Public Contract Code, the contract will include provisions permitting the successful bidder to substitute securities for any monies withheld by the County to ensure contract performance.
