Klondike Gold Rush NHP – Seattle Unit
04/16/2024
Goal
• Assess the current AV and prepare for AV system upgrade.
Information
• Historic building, items cannot be mounted or hung on walls or ceiling unless there is something already there existing that is being replaced. There can be no new holes, all cabling will have to be through preexisting cable paths.
• AV closet is approximately 6’ wide by 2’9” deep and a ceiling height of 11’ tall. There is a shelf built into the closet that previously supported the projector. The current projector is on a 90-degree mount above the glass window.
• The projector booth has a fixed glass window that the projector projects through.
• The throw distance to the screen from the glass is 27’5”, the projector lens is about 5”-6” from the glass. Total throw distance is 27’10’ - 28’.
• AV rack o 78” tall, 22” wide, and 25” deep.

• Wireless microphones for in theater o Two receivers, two wireless handheld microphones, two wireless lavaliere microphones o This would be for in room amplification and video conferencing.
• PA system for theater announcements to cover exhibit spaces on lower level, street level, and bookstore.
o Wireless handheld microphone for announcements o System to allow for auto playback of announcements
Comments
During this site visit all film files were copied and will be turned over to contractor after post-award site visit is completed for installation of new AV system.
