The RFP solicits proposals to establish a contract with one or more qualified vendors to provide comprehensive landscape maintenance services across George Mason University's multiple campuses and facilities, including locations in Fairfax, Arlington, Prince William (SciTech), Front Royal (SMSC), Potomac Science Center, and Point of View. All questions and offers must be submitted electronically through Bonfire. All offerors are required to complete and include the Small Business Subcontracting Plan with their proposal to be considered responsive. Offerors certified by the Virginia Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity (DSBSD) as micro or small businesses must provide their certification number and date. Offerors planning to use subcontractors must complete Section B, identifying all subcontractors and their proposed participation as either a percentage or dollar value for the initial contract period, including plans to utilize DSBSD-certified small businesses, women-owned businesses, minority-owned businesses, and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses. The document emphasizes that proposed subcontractor participation will be incorporated into the subsequent contract and failure to obtain the proposed participation levels may result in breach of contract.
